out of void voyeurism & existential nausea
out of lost earrings & found bathroom stall poetry
out of walk of shame in wrinkled dresses & hot coal crawling
when he doesn’t call
out of black sheep blues & hungry wolf narrow escapes
out of envy like a tumor & righteous rage like a fever
out of tornado nightmares & hurricane hauntings
out of empty easter eggs & charcoal in the stocking
out of clearance rack lingerie & bargain basement lipstick
