The Outlaws of the Spoken Word (Desperado Poets) is an edgy crew
of poets who hail from all over the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex. These
spoken word artists met while performing at various readings around
the DFW area, and are now bringing their poetic firepower together for
some great readings at various Metroplex venues.
With a range of styles, the Outlaws have been inspired by a mixture of
influences. At our readings, you will sometimes find humor, sometimes
pain, sometimes insight--but always a good time. Feel free to come read
with us, * or just hang out and listen, if you want.
